Watch a Couple of Guys Play Super Mario Bros. Music on the R Train
This video is great on at least 4 levels. You’ve got the guys playing Mario Bros. music with aplomb, you’ve got your jaded New Yorkers who either don’t recognize the song or don’t give a shit. You’ve got your nerd bobbing along to it in the background. Lastly, you’ve got the guys refusing to stop when the train gets to the next stop.
Why don’t I ever see this? I always get the weird trio of girl with baby and boy playing the accordion. Or breakdancers. They’re the worst.
Me, I would’ve immediately held someone up and given the pair all of that person’s money.
