In an effort to successfully market a dumbass-looking movie, the team behind Chronicle decided to fly human-shaped RC planes over New York City. Here’s video of the event.
From what I can glean about the movie from its trailer, young, good-looking people stumble upon some kind of artifact or something that gives them powers, which obviously means one of them becomes corrupt, and something something explosions. It’s in the style of a Paranormal Activity or Blair Witch Project to lend it that last shred of gritty reality a movie with a bus getting thrown through the air - with mind powers - needs.
Anyway, I’m sure this viral marketing stunt frightened some people, and I’m sure some were amused, but I would’ve been terrified, as I would’ve been certain that robots have become sentient, and begun their 4 tier plan to overthrow the human race:
- Become sentient.
- Fly around the world’s major cities to mock and intimidate their future victims.
- ????
- KILL US ALL.
